How do I book a stay and what is your nightly rate?
Use our contact form to share your dates and any questions you may have. Anna will respond within 24 hours to finalize the details. Payment is due in full at time of booking. The nightly rate is $138.
Where is Frida Located?
We are off of Reems Creek Road in Weaverville. Frida is a 5-minute drive from downtown Weaverville and a 20-minute drive from downtown Asheville. Exact address and location will be provided upon booking.
How many people can stay at Frida's Airstream Hideaway?
Frida was designed for solo travelers or two people traveling together. We allow a maximum of 2 guests overnight and 2 visitors. No parties or gatherings.
Are children or pets allowed?
This is an adults-only getaway, exclusively for humans! No children under age 21 or pets.
How long can I stay?
We have a two-night minimum and we welcome guests up to 7 nights.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am. Once you book your stay, we will provide you with detailed instructions.
Is the Airstream heated and cooled?
Yes. Frida has both air conditioning and heat, plus a cozy electric fireplace.
Is WiFi available?
Yes. Fast, reliable Starlink Internet makes Frida ideal for remote workers or digital nomads. Of course, we hope you'll opt to unplug for at least part of your stay in order to get the full experience!
Is the composting toilet difficult to use?
Not at all! It’s clean, sanitary, odor-free, and serviced between every stay. Most guests are surprised by how simple it is, and it might even become a fun story to share after your trip.
Do you supply firewood?
Yes, firewood is provided for the outdoor fire pit. Please be aware that we occasionally face fire bans during dry times of year. We will let you know if fires are prohibited during your stay.
Is there laundry on-site?
Not on the property, but you'll find the Weaverville Laundromat close by.
Is the property accessible?
You will drive up a windy mountain road that is paved and fully accessible by car. A flat parking space big enough for two cars is located at the entrance, steps away from Frida. There are stairs to enter the Airstream, so the space isn’t fully ADA accessible.
How private is the site?
We have neighbors nearby, but none are visible from our property. We have two security cameras on-site. Both are clearly visible on the outside of the shed.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your stay is fully refundable up to 5 days before your check-in date. After that, you will receive a partial refund (no refund for first day, subsequent days 50% refund).
